Who I Am & What I Need: A Workshop Series on Self-Identity and the Services I Receive

September 20 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

FREE

Join us for this 2-part workshop geared towards self-advocates and those with a disability! Our goal is to help you understand your identity and the services you receive.

In Part 1 (September 20), we will have an interactive discussion around what your disability is and what that means for you. Having a strong self-identity that includes but is not limited to your disability is important. We will discover all the wonderful things that make up who you are while also understanding your disability.

In Part 2 (September 21), we will focus on the social service delivery system available for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Information will be provided on the various documents used to decide what services an individual is eligible for and how the services work. There will be a focus on the Developmental Disabilities Waiver.

Please register for Who I Am & What I Need here. (Please note: You only need to register once for this workshop series. The form will ask you if you are attending both sessions – September 20 & 21.)
